CAGNOTTE : Maternité TIBGA

#TousEnsemblePourTibga :

🌍 #TOUSENSEMBLEPOURTIBGA is a campaign of crowdfunding initiated by the inhabitants of the commune of Tibga, located in the east of Burkina Faso, in collaboration with the UNDP Burkina Fasothe architect Francis KéréFootballer Edmond Tapsoba and Terra Invest SA.

🎯 Objective :

Build a maternity to improve health care and to respond to the urgent needs of the population.

La commune rurale de Tibga, située dans la province du Gourma à l’Est du Burkina Faso, abrite 59 000 habitants répartis sur 32 villages. En proie à un système de santé fragile, cette communauté se mobilise pour construire une maternité moderne et un laboratoire répondant aux normes internationales.

Current Challenges :

1. Absence of laboratory : The diagnostics require transport of 45 km, delaying care.
2. Maternity inappropriate : 3 beds just for a growing population, the precarious conditions.
3. Maternal health at risk : Frequent complications endanger women and newborns.

A Project in 2 Phases :

Phase 1 : Construction of the maternity modern

Infrastructure éco-responsable intégrant l’énergie solaire et des matériaux locaux.

Phase 2 : Implementation of the medical laboratory

On-site Analyses for rapid diagnosis and effective care.

A Unique Architectural Design and Sustainable

The architectural project is signed by the Burkina faso Francis Kéré, the first African to have won the award Pritzker.

  Utilisation de matériaux locaux pour réduire les coûts et renforcer l’économie locale.
  Intégration de techniques de construction durables et respectueuses de l’environnement.
  Conception inclusive et participative, favorisant l’appropriation par la communauté.
